Description
Pinanga Blume (1839, 76)
Eight species of Pinanga are currently recognized from Vietnam (Henderson 2009). Fieldwork in 2007 resulted in the discovery of a vegetatively distinct Pinanga from Nui Chua, which was unfortunately not fertile at that time. Recent fertile collections have confirmed that the specimens represent an undescribed species.
