Fit-FeS: Spectral Decomposition of Iron-Sulfur Clusters. Reference spectra included.

  • 1. University of Alberta

Description

Fit-FeS is a spectral decomposition tool that allows semi-quantitative analysis of iron-sulfur clusters by UV-Vis spectroscopy. The provided files contain iron-sulfur reference spectra that can help the end-user analyze their own acquired data.

Written in VBA, Fit-FeS requires Microsoft Excel's "Solver" add-in to be activated in order to run.

This tool can potentially be used to decompose spectra of solutions containing chromophores other than iron-sulfur clusters.
