This report presents a guide to selecting high-quality commercial antibodies against Sequestosome-1 by immunoblot (Western blot), immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence using a standardized experimental protocol based on comparing read-outs in knockout cell lines and isogenic parenral controls.

This work is part of the ALS-Reproducible Antibody Platform (ALS-RAP). ALS-RAP was created as a public-private partnership by three leading ALS charities - the ALS Association (USA), the Motor Neurone Disease Association (UK), and the ALS Society of Canada.
