SPECIFIC FEATURES OF THE GLAUTEX DRAINAGEIMPLANTATION TECHNIQUE IN SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CONGENITALGLAUCOMA

The results of 17 antiglaucomatous operations with Glautex drainage implantations are analyzed. The
age of patients ranged from 10 days to 3 years. The average age was 18.2 ± 0.3 months. Boys made
up 9 (52.8%) while girls constituted 8 (47.2%). All patients had previously undergone
antiglaucomatous surgery, of which in 10 of them -onlyonce, 5 patients went under knife twice and in
2 cases - three times. When conducting anti-glaucomatous operations using Glautex drainage, it is
necessary to follow some technical nuances to prevent intra- and postoperative complications
