Description
Perlesta decipiens (Walsh).
This variable species is common in larger, warmwater streams from Colorado and Wyoming east to Pennsylvania (Stark 2004). It is widely distributed and often abundant in Illinois streams (DeWalt et al. 2001). Only a few specimens have been reported for Indiana (Grubbs 2004).
We present several records that indicate this species is similarly broadly-distributed in Indiana.
