Linking GHRM with Environmental Performance: Importance Role of Task-Related Pro-Environmental Behaviour

There is a limited study on the link between green human resource management (GHRM), task-related pro-environmental behaviors, and environmental performance, especially in tourism enterprises. This study bridges the knowledge gap by examining the impact of GHRM on environmental performance throughthe mediating effect of task-related pro-environmental behaviors in tourism enterprises. For this purpose, a quantitative research methodology was used with a pre-tested instrument. To investigate the specified relationship, a purposive sampling technique was used to select 347 employees of hotels and travel agencies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to participate in this study. We found that GHRM has a positive and significant impact on environmental performance. Furthermore, we also found that the relationship between GHRM and environmental performance is mediated by task-related pro-environmental behavior.  According to the findings of the mediation analysis, task-related pro-environmental behavior. The findings have a lot of implications for tourism researchers and practitioners, especially those concerned with tourism enterprises. Study limitations and future study opportunities are also mentioned.
