Description

Multi-systemic inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C), which can develop for as yet unclear reasons following an infection with SARS-CoV-2, occurs even in the absence of a COVID-19 disease (infection without symptoms) prior to its onset. The complication is a fatal risk, especially for adolescents, according to a recent US study.
