Phytoseius pesidiumii Nassar & Kandeel, 1983: 1042; Moraes et al., 2004: 250; Chant & McMurtry, 2007: 129. Phytoseius (Phytoseius) pesidiumii. Moraes et al., 1986: 226.

Previous records from Egypt. Sharkia governorate (Nassar & Kandeel, 1983).

Remarks. No additional specimens of this species were found in this study. It was originally described from the holotype female and four paratype females collected in Sharkia governorate, Egypt. The original description was detailed, with illustrations and setal measurements.
