Description
Micromeria dalmatica Benth is a Balkan endemic medicinal and aromatic plant widely used as herb or spice. Methanolic and aqueous extracts of three populations of M. dalmatica were evaluated for free radical scavenging activity against DPPH radicals.
The aim of the present study was to assay free radical scavenging activity of methanolic and aqueous extracts of different populations of M. dalmatica and to determine their metabolic composition by GC/MS in view of the use in the culinary and herbal medicine.
