Solar Surface Stereoscopy with SO/PHI
Description
Two methods for a stereoscopic analysis of the height variations in the solar photosphere are presented. Both methods are being developed to work with data from PHI and another spacecraft or telescope, and use intensity profiles of the solar photosphere taken from two different view points; the first method estimates height variations by shifting and correlating both signals, while the second is an optimization of the least squares differences of the projections of both profiles.
