Description

Computation results of the numerical experiments in the PhD Thesis:

  • S. W. R. Werner; Structure-Preserving Model Reduction for Mechanical Systems.

The results are ordered with respect to the used benchmark example. The corresponding MATLAB codes for the computations can be found here.

Notes

This work was supported from October 1, 2016 until September 30, 2019 by the German Research Foundation (DFG) Priority Program 1897: "Calm, Smooth and Smart -- Novel Approaches for Influencing Vibrations by Means of Deliberately Introduced Dissipation". The author has also been associated since April 1, 2017 with the German Research Foundation (DFG) Research Training Group 2297 "Mathematical Complexity Reduction (MathCoRe)", Magdeburg.
