Pseudomoaner/FAST: FAST beta (v2.0.0)

Authors/Creators

Description

Updates in v2.0.0 relative to v1.0.2:

  • Fixes bugs associated with creating deployed version of code, particularly for Linux-based deployments.
  • Switches to simple lines for track plotting, rather than patchLine. Much quicker and less memory intensive.
  • Introduces automated track interpolation for tracks that have bridged gaps. Tracks now contain the 'interpolated' field, allowing you to see which timepoints have been interpolated.
  • Removes track smoothing (generally smoothing requirements are too diverse for this to be useful)
  • plotUnormalizedStepSizes.m (the plotting function for the model training window) now outputs the step sizes it calculates. This allows the plotting to be repeated rapidly when a new threshold is chosen, rather than having to re-calculate the step sizes.
  • Solves problem where track correction didn't work if the minimum frame was not equal to 1
  • Fixes issue with displaying populations in the overlays module (mask and boundary options).
  • Improves the way that labels are overlaid on images, increasing stability.
  • Allows previously selected settings to be pre-loaded into the tracking and segmentation module, if tracking/segmentation has already been completed once.
  • Corrects a couple of bugs with doubleFAST's tracking integration.

Note that due to the addition of track interpolation and removal of track smoothing, the output format of tracking no longer conforms to the same format as used in previous versions. Any previously extracted feature data can still be used, but tracking and division detection should be re-run using the new version.
