108. Amblyomma romitii Tonelli Rondelli, 1939.

A Neotropical species whose adults and nymphs have been found on Rodentia: Caviidae; adult ticks alone have been recovered from Didelphimorphia: Didelphidae. Amblyomma romitii is a rare parasite of humans.
