88. Amblyomma pacae Aragão, 1911.
A Neotropical species whose adults are usually found on Rodentia: Cuniculidae; adults and nymphs have been collected from Carnivora: Canidae, and Rodentia: Caviidae and Cuniculidae; adults alone have been recovered from Mammalia (several orders); larvae and nymphs have been collected from Didelphimorphia: Didelphidae, Rodentia: Echimyidae, and Gruiformes: Cariamidae (Esser et al. 2016 a, Nava et al. 2018, Bermúdez et al. 2018, Gruhn et al. 2019). Amblyomma pacae is a very rare parasite of humans.
