34. Amblyomma dubitatum Neumann, 1899.
A Neotropical species, all of whose parasitic stages are usually found on Rodentia: Caviidae, but they have also been recovered from Mammalia (several orders); immature stages have been collected from Rheiformes: Rheidae, and Passeriformes: Furnariidae, Passerellidae and Turdidae. Amblyomma dubitatum is a sporadic parasite of humans.
