Family MUSTELIDAE Fischer, 1817

Since the exclusion of the Mephitidae, Wozencraft (2005) recognized two Subfamilies, Lutrinae and Mustelinae within the Family Mustelidae. Four genera and nine species of mustelids occur in Korea.
