MPAS-Ocean test cases used in a publication for the new semi-implicit solver

Description

Each tar file includes everything needed to run a simulation with MPAS-Ocean v7

The steps are:

  1. download
  2. unzip: tar xvfz filename.tar.gz
  3. add a link to your compiled executable of MPAS-Ocean v7
  4. run
    • '1d' test cases
      • e.g., mpirun -n 1 ocean_model
    • '2d' and 'global_ocean' test cases
      • e.g., mpirun -n $N ocean_model

 

If the simulation was successful, you will see:

tail -n 1 log.ocean.0000.out
 Logging complete.  Closing file at ...
