Lorditomaeus tanganyicanus Balthasar, 1965: 211.
Specimens examined (1): Kenya, Laikipia, MRC, 1800 m, N00 o 17’ - E36 o 53’, 1-13. V.2003, #1, leg. R. Gordon, Hippopotamus dung (1). (Specimen lost in shipment).
Geographical distribution: Tanzania. This may be the first Kenya record.
Dung preference: Not known, the only specimen found was taken from hippo dung.
