In what manner Muḥammad, and the other prophets, remain alive in their graves. A discussion by SUYÛṬÎ, being in answer to a question which was put to him on that subject. It is entitled, according to the conclusion, انباه الاذکیاء بحیاة الانبیاء. See Ḥ. Kh. i. 443, and Bibl. Sprenger. 1960.

 قال رحمه الله الحمد لله و سلام علی عباده الذین اصطفی وقع السؤال قد اشتهر ان النبی صلعم حی فی قبره وورد انه صلعم قال ما من احد یسلم علیَّ الا رد الله علی روحی حتی ارد علیه السلام فظاهره مفارقة الروح له فی بعض الاوقات فکیف الجمع و هو سؤال حسن یحتاج الی النظر و التامل فاقول حیاة النبی صلعم فی قبره هو و سائر الانبیاء معلومة عندنا علما قطیعا
