Description

This paper is based on the outcomes of a survey conducted by the scholar for preparation of M.Phil dissertation during September, 2014. The major objective of the study is to examine the impact of development programmes on socio- economic life of tribals. The major thrust of the paper is to found out the reasons for low literacy among the tribal. The findings of the paper is based on the study of Gadapadar Up-Graded High school, situated 5 Kms away from Jeypore block.
