You Can't Put and Ankle Bracelet on Ideas ... or can you?

How might we identify what gets captured and what remains uncaptured and why is that important to humanities scholars worldwide? How can we focus on all parts of the research and publishing process and use PIDs to ensure that all engaged work is recognised, linked and discoverable; not just the traditional outcomes?
