Description

Upgrades:

  • Replaced SLALIB with its open-source equivalent PAL in the beamformer
  • Reduced the output of the sn estimations and implemented a progress bar
  • Made vcstools more pythonic by putting all executables from the PATH in scripts and everything that should be imported from the PYTHONPATH in the vcstools module.
  • RM synth can now run using singularity containers
  • mwa_metadb_utils.py now calculates the FoV of an observation
  • Uses the new FRB catalogue www.wis-tns.org

Fixes:

  • Fixed a metadata bug in find_pulsar_in_obs.py caused by there being no files in some observations Now uses the Python 3 version of the cal download script
  • Now uses the standalone offline_correlator module
