(as subspecies of D. napoensis), 2014b: 97 (to species status; assignment to group ovalis), 2016a: 60, 2017a: 80, 2018a: 64 (assignment to group).
Holotype male in CPMG.
Type locality: Otonga, 00º25’01.2” S 79º00’14.0” W, 2065 m, Cotopaxi Province, Ecuador.
Distribution: Ecuador: Cotopaxi, Napo and Pichincha Provinces.
