Synergus profusus McCracken & Egbert, 1922. Stanford Univ., Pubs., Univ. Ser. Biol. Sci. 3 (1): 59. Type material: CAS (lectotype), paralectotypes in CAS and USNM. Synonymized by Lobato-Vila et al. (2020c: 24).
Diagnosis. See Lobato-Vila et al. (2020c: 24).
Distribution. USA: California (McCracken & Egbert 1922).
Biology. Reared from galls of Heteroecus pacificus (Ashmead, 1896) (= Andricus pacificus) on Q. chrysolepis, and from galls of Disholcaspis canescens (Bassett, 1890) on Q. douglasii (McCracken & Egbert 1922).
Remarks. The type material of both Synergus pacificus and S. profusus was examined and the species was redescribed and illustrated by Lobato-Vila et al. (2020c: 24).
