Cicada fusca Müller, 1776a: 102 nomen dubium (from Northern Europe) primary homonym of Cicada laternaria fusca De Geer, 1773: 200
Notes: Although the name is a homonym, a replacement name is not proposed because the name has not been used since its original publication and the identity of the species has never been established. If the identity of the species is ever recognized, it will be treated as nomen oblitum (ICZN article 23.9).
