Description

Psychoda phalaenoides (Linnaeus, 1758)

Previous record in Bulgaria. Wagner (2018).

Material examined. Bulgaria: Rila Mts., (site 5) Borovec (Borovets) env., 1 ♀, 13.viii.1981, SW, waterfall, veg.: Picea, Sorbus, slide Inv. No. 25400, leg., det., Ježek; Stara Planina Mts. range, (site 6) Čarkovo (Charkovo) env. Gabrovo, 1 ♂, 21.vi.1985, SW, brook in darknes valley, veg.: Carpinus, Corylus, Juglans, Hedera, Urtica, Inula, slide Inv. No. 25389, leg., det., Ježek.

Distribution. Currently known to occur in Alaska, Algeria, Austria, Balearic Islands, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Canary Islands, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Formosa, France, Georgia, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Romania, Russia (Novosibirsk region), Sardinia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland (Wagner 2018; Krek 1999; Bernotienè 2002; Ježek 1990c, 1992, 1993, 1996b, 1997, 1999a, 2002, 2003, 2006b,c, 2009a; Ježek & Hájek 2007; Ježek & Omelková 2012; Ježek & Schacht 2006; Ježek et al. 2005, 2008, 2014, 2018b, 2019; Kroča & Ježek 2015, 2019; Oboňa & Ježek 2014; Oboňa et al. 2019a,c; Omelková & Ježek 2012a).
