Type species — Xenocona pulchra Gilmour, 1960 (original designation).
Alcathousites Gilmour, 1962: 266.
Type species — Alcathousites chaclacayoi Gilmour, 1962 (original designation).
Diagnosis. Prothorax with lateral tubercles slightly acuminate or blunt; antennomere III in males with spiniform projection (in some species with dense set of setae internally); elytra without carinae, with centrobasal crest. Number of species currently included: 7.
