Types. Geolycosa atroscopulata Roewer, 1955 (Fig. 14 A–G): lectotype ♂ and paralectotypes 2♂ 1♀ designated here (SMF), “Arachn. Coll. Rwr. -Lfd. No. 11441, No. 703, Typ., Iran: Sabzawaran”, examined (in the text Roewer mentioned this material as: 1♂ 1♀, Sabzawaran, Typus, H. Löffler leg., 2♂, Sabzawaran, Paratipoide, F. Starmuhl- ner leg.); 1♀ (SMF), “Sabzawaran (nördl. Flussbett), Paratypoid”, H. Löffler leg., not examined.

Geolycosa altera Roewer, 1955: 1 ♀ (SMF), “bei Tschalus (Kaspi-Küste), Typus ”, H. Löffler leg., not exam- ined.

Lycorma nigrichelis Roewer, 1955 (Fig. 14 H–I): holotype ♀ (SMF), “Arachn. Coll. Rwr. -Lfd. No. 11444, No. 706, Typus, Kurusch-Gol (Tabris)”, H. Loffler leg., examined; paratype 1♂ (SMF), “ Allotypus, bei Tschalus (Kaspi- Kuste)”, F. Starmuhlner leg., not examined.

Comments. This species is considered here because Geolycosa altera was recently (Logunov 2012; World Spi- der Catalog 2020) placed in Trochosa. Although we have not studied the type, this species is adequately illustrated by Logunov (2012). Its peculiarly shaped vulva is exactly the same as that of H. ferox. The female allotype of G. atroscopulata is a subadult with a well-developed ‘pre-epigyne’. The structure of the epigyne and habitus in the type of Lycorma nigrichelis are identical to those of H. ferox.
