Centris intermixta Friese, 1899: 47. Junior synonym of C. ephippium Smith, 1854 (Vivallo 2019).
Type data: Both lectotype and paralectotype males are housed at ZMB. Type locality: Brazil: Mato Grosso state: “Cauia”.
Comment: Moure et al. (2007) mentioned erroneously the existence of a holotype of this species, probably following the comment of Moure (1995) about the “type specimen”.
