Policy Brief 1: Hyper-diversity: A New Perspective on Urban Diversity

Present-day cities are hyper-diversified – not only in socio-economic, social and ethnic terms, but also with respect to lifestyles, attitudes and activities. This policy brief focuses on the need to look at urban diversity through a new lens; to recognise hyper-diversity and to better understand its potential in facilitating social cohesion, social mobility and economic performance in European cities.
