Basionym: Santolina dentata L. (1753).

Lectotype (Wijnands, Bot. Commelins: 69. 1983): Herb. Clifford: 398, Santolina 5 (BM-000646972).

Current name: Athanasia dentata (L.) L. (Asteraceae).
