Athamanta libanotis Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 244. 1753.
"Habitat in Sueciae, Germaniae pratis siccis apricis." RCN: 1963.
Lectotype (Pardo in Lagascalia 3: 168. 1981): Herb. Linn. No. 345.1 (LINN).
Current name: Libanotis pyrenaica (L.) Schwarz (Apiaceae).
Note: See detailed account by Jarvis & Knees (in Taxon 37: 474. 1988) who independently reached the same conclusion as Pardo.
