Description
Anemone trifolia Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 540. 1753.
"Habitat in Gallia." RCN: 4016.
Lectotype (Britton in Ann. New York Acad. Sci. 6: 226. 1891): Herb. Linn. No. 710.24 (LINN).
Current name: Anemone trifolia L. (Ranunculaceae).
Note: Ubaldi & Puppi (in Candollea 44: 141. 1989) provided a detailed discussion and designated a Clifford sheet as lectotype, but this choice post-dates that of Britton, based on material in LINN.
