Description

Acer saccharinum Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 1055. 1753.

"Habitat in Pensylvania. Kalm." RCN: 7637.

Lectotype (Murray in Kalmia 7: 13. 1975): Kalm, Herb. Linn. No. 1225.10 (LINN; iso- UPS).

Current name: Acer saccharinum L. (Aceraceae).
