Description

Lycopsis virginica Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 139. 1753.

"Habitat in Virginia ad vias." RCN: 1119.

Neotype (Miller in Cafferty & Jarvis in Taxon 53: 803. 2004): U.S.A. Virginia, Henrico County, border of woods, east of Fulton Hill, 6 Jun 1940. Fernald & Long 12175 (MO; iso- GH).

Current name: Myosotis virginica (L.) Britton & al. (Boraginaceae).
