Lectotype (Seegeler in Taxon 38: 278, f. 1. 1989): Herb. Clifford: 114, Linum 1 (BM).

Current name: Linum usitatissimum L. (Linaceae).

Note: An orthographic variant of L. usitatissimum L. (1753), as noted by Stearn (Introd. Ray’s Syn. Meth. Stirp. Brit. (Ray Soc. ed.): 68. 1973).
