Description
Sisymbrium nasturtium-aquaticum Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 657. 1753.
"Habitat in Europa & America septentrionali ad fontes." RCN: 4777.
Lectotype (Jonsell in Svensk Bot. Tidskr. 67: 293. 1973): Herb. Linn. No. 836.1 (LINN).
Current name: Rorippa nasturtium - aquaticum (L.) Hayek (Brassicaceae).
Note: Although Fawcett & Rendle (Fl. Jamaica 3: 237. 1914) indicated material in LINN as the type, they did not distinguish between sheets 836.1 and 836.2 (which are evidently not part of a single gathering so Arr. 9.15 does not apply).
