Basionym: Seseli carvifolia L. (1753).
Lectotype (Reduron & Jarvis in Jarvis & al., Regnum Veg. 127: 87. 1993): [icon] " Angelica tenuifolia " in Rivinus, Ordo Pl. Fl. Pentapetal.: t. 18. 1699.
Generitype of Selinum Linnaeus (1762), nom. cons.
Current name: Selinum carvifolia (L.) L. (Apiaceae).
