Lectotype (Grierson in Dassanayake & Fosberg, Revised Handb. Fl. Ceylon 1: 268. 1980): Kleynhoff, Herb. Linn. No. 952.6 (LINN).
Current name: Youngia japonica (L.) DC. (Asteraceae).
