Description
Polygonum convolvulus Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 364. 1753.
"Habitat in Europae agris." RCN: 2876.
Lectotype (Bhopal & Chaudhri in Pakistan Syst. 1(2): 70. 1977): Herb. Linn. No. 510.38 (LINN).
Current name: Fallopia convolvulus (L.) Á. Löve (Polygonaceae).
Note: Elkington’s type choice (in Nordic J. Bot. 14: 153. 1994) is predated by that of Bhopal & Chaudhri.
