Description

Piper acuminatum Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 30. 1753.

Lectotype (Stearn in Taxon 10: 17. 1961): [icon] " Saururus alius humilis, folio carnoso, et acuminato " in Plumier, Descr. Pl. Amér.: 54, t. 71. 1693.

Current name: Peperomia nigropunctata Miq. (Piperaceae).
