"Habitat nullibi, enata Holmiae in Horto Ehrenreich, semine rarius propaganda planta. Hort. Upsal." RCN: 2646.
Replaced synonym: Tropaeolum quinquelobum P.J. Bergius (1765).
Lectotype (Sparre & Andersson in Opera Bot. 108: 67. 1991): Herb. Bergius (SBT).
Current name: Tropaeolum majus L. (Tropaeolaceae).
Note: As noted by Sparre (in Bot. Not. 118: 448. 1965), this is a superfluous name for Tropaeolum quinquelobum P.J. Bergius (1765).
