Description

Tillandsia usneoides (Linnaeus) Linnaeus, Species Plantarum, ed. 2, 1: 411. 1762.

"Habitat in Virginiae, Jamaicae, Brasiliae arboribus." RCN: 2281.

Basionym: Renealmia usneoides L. (1753).

Lectotype (Gouda in Görts-van Rijn, Fl. Guianas, ser. A, 3: 68. 1987): Herb. Clifford: 129, Renealmia 1 (BM-000558543).

Current name: Tillandsia usneoides (L.) L. (Bromeliaceae).
