Lectotype (Hilliard & Burtt in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 82: 247, 253. 1981): Hasselquist, Herb. Linn. No. 989.51 (LINN; iso- UPS-HASSELQ 681).

Current name: Helichrysum sanguineum (L.) Kostel. (Asteraceae).
