Description

Glycyrrhiza glabra Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 742. 1753.

"Habitat in Franconia, Gallia, Hispania, Italia." RCN: 5461.

Lectotype (Ali in Nasir & Ali, Fl. W. Pakistan 100: 97. 1977): Herb. Linn. No. 916.3 (LINN).

Generitype of Glycyrrhiza Linnaeus (vide Green, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 175. 1929).

Current name: Glycyrrhiza glabra L. (Fabaceae: Faboideae).
