Description

Glycine abrus Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 753. 1753.

"Habitat in Indiis, Aegypto." RCN: 5168.

Replaced synonym of: Abrus precatorius L. (1767).

Lectotype (Fawcett & Rendle, Fl. Jamaica 4: 43. 1920): Herb. Hermann 2: 6, No. 284 (BM-000621515).

Current name: Abrus precatorius L. (Fabaceae: Faboideae).
