Viscum rubrum Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 2: 1023. 1753.

Lectotype (Dandy, Sloane Herbarium: 112. 1958): [icon] " Viscum foliis longioribus baccis rubris " in Catesby, Nat. Hist. Carolina 2: 81, t. 81. 1743. - Voucher: Herb. Sloane 232: 2, n. 8 (BM-SL).

Current name: Phoradendron rubrum (L.) Griseb. (Loranthaceae).
