Vaccinium vitis-idaea Linnaeus, Species Plantarum 1: 351. 1753.

Lectotype (Vander Kloet, Genus Vaccinium N. America: 116. 1988): Herb. Linn. No. 497.17 (LINN).
Current name: Vaccinium vitis - idaea L. (Ericaceae).
