Facciolella oxyrhynchus (Bellotti 1883) —Facciola’s sorcerer

Taxonomy. First record from Lebanon as Facciolella oxyrhyncha by Aguillar et al. (2018: 81).

Distribution. Western Atlantic; Mediterranean Sea, eastern Atlantic: southern Portugal south to Angola, including Madeira.

Conservation. IUCN: Global (NE); Med. (DD: 16 November 2007). Capture and threats: unknown. Occurrence: Very rare. Low priority for conservation action.
