Pepsis equestris Erichson

VENEZUELA: Falcon State, Coro; 8 March 2011; E. Petit. Host: Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens (Strand) (Greenbottle blue tarantula) (Theraphosidae), juvenile. The wasp grasped the paralyzed tarantula by the base of its right forecoxa with her mandibles and pulled the spider backwards on the ground, dorsal side upward (Petit 2011).

VENEZUELA: Falcon State, Paraguana Peninsula, Judibana; 20 January 2014; X. Guerrero (@xionland). Host: Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens, juvenile. The wasp dragged the paralyzed tarantula backwards on the ground by the base of its left forecoxa, dorsal side upward, grasping it with her mandibles (Guerrero 2014).
